These tables provide detailed information on New Zealand's international trade in services. Trade in services includes transactions where no physical product changes hands. For example, a New Zealand lawyer providing advice to an overseas client, or an overseas head office charging a management fee to its New Zealand branch.
The information is sourced from a variety of quarterly surveys, including the International Trade in Services and Royalties Survey (ITSS) for commercial services, and the International Visitor Survey for travel services.
Data is presented on a year ended basis as a time series for the most recent four years.
